The League Manager.
An overview in the form of a user's guide.

The Entry / Exit Point, select a file or create a new one.
To create new files just follow the prompts:-

At the last prompt the Enter key was touched to accept Generate fixtures.

A summary analysis of the division's games is displayed on completion.

The file is saved to the 'LG\TABLEHTM' folder
The yellow indicates those teams meet at least once, home or away.

The Main Menu appears.

Touch T for Table.

A rough table is displayed while an HTML and a CSV version are written.

Press Enter to return to the Main Menu

Look in the folder LG\TABLEHTM for the filename with the htm extension (ie Lg1.htm).
Double click it to open it in your browser.

That can be improved by adding borders of course.

To write out a fixture card, touch ' f ' in the publishing menu.


The file will be in the folder LG\FXLST. Double click it to open it in Excel.

All ready to be manipulated into a fixture card.

The third item in the publishing menu is the analysis utility, seen earlier following the league set up.
The Analyser is useful for checking manual adjustments to league fixtures.

Now for some Results Input, from the Main Menu touch {I}.


Touch Enter to update outstanding games.
Notice fractional scores (white breaks below) can be entered as .2 or .7

After each meeting is exhausted, the entry area clears ready for the following meeting's results.


For entering Rink Wins, Draws or Losses
a different prompt appears after entering the home result.
At the Rk Hm> prompt enter the number of the home side's winning rinks;
At the Rk Dn> prompt enter the number of drawing rinks;
At the Rk Aw> prompt enter the number of home side's losing rinks; (=away side's winning rinks)


After offering all games up to the current date, the file is saved and the league table constructed.


This is the published table with just the top and bottom of the fixtures.

The rink results are displayed within brackets.

Results of games played early can be entered by touching 'E' from the Results Input screen.
An indexed list of meetings is displayed from which the relevant date is selected.

The screen changes to provide a list of games that day.
Entering a single result will terminate input with a confirmation to accept the change.

On to the Editor.


Touch R to edit a result. A similar screen to the Early Result Entry is displayed.

Touch D to edit a date. Each date in turn is offered, enter a new date or press Enter to skip.

(Just the last one was changed.)

Touch F to edit the fixtures. Touch M to edit Manually.

Each meeting in turn is offered on a clean page,
each game is offered in turn, challenger first then the opponent.
Press Enter to skip a game, leaving the original fixture intact or overwrite the team number.
As each game is placed it disappears from the team list.
Now to mess things up, swap the opponents in the first two games.

Enter ' f ' to finish.
Following Fixture Editing is the Analysis screen.
Now it shows 1 vs 8 and 2 vs 7 play twice whilst 1 vs 7 and 2 vs 8 never.

The figures are yellow as the matches 7 v 1 and 8 v 2 are programmed.
