The League Manager.
An overview in the form of a user's guide.
The Entry / Exit Point, select a file or create a new one.

'n' entered to create a new file - answer the prompts.

The raw file has been saved, further details may be entered now or through the Edit Menu if skipped.
Scoring System: If Team Wins attract points the results will be published in the tables.

If 'Generate' is selected,the number of times all teams can play each other
within the reserved slots is worked out and offered. It may be reduced but not increased.

If (M)anually was selected the fixtures can be entered without restraint.
A fixture analysis is displayed on completion.

Times Teams Meet

The yellow indicates those teams meet at least once, home or away.
Venue Schedule

Ideally teams should play alternatively home and away.
The data file is saved to the 'LG\COMPS' folder
The Main Menu appears.

Lets have a look at the league. Touch P to enter the Publishing Menu

Touch T for Table. A table is displayed on screen and written to HTML and CSV files.
For Leagues where overall wins count only:-

Press Enter to return to the Main Menu
Look in the folder LG\TABLEHTM for the filename with the htm extension (ie Lg1.htm).
Double click one to open it in your browser. This is the Overall Win Table.

A full list of fixtures / results appears beneath the League Table
This is the top part of an Overall and Team Win Table publishing the additional Team Records.
This is the Excel version in the folder LG\TABLECSV with the extension csv (ie Lg2.csv).

Which can be improved by adding borders of course.
To write out a fixture card, touch ' f ' in the publishing menu.

The file will be in the folder LG\FXLST. Double click it to open it in Excel.

The home fixtures are aligned with their entry in the index column.
All ready to be manipulated into a fixture card.
The third item in the publishing menu is the analysis utility, seen earlier following the league set up.
The Analyser is useful for checking manual adjustments to league fixtures.
Now for some Results Input, from the Main Menu touch {I}.

Touch Enter to update outstanding games.
Notice fractional scores (white breaks below) can be entered as .2, .5 or .7

Each meeting's unplayed games are displayed for result entry up to the current date.

A different seperator ( ) appears between the sides in leagues with Team results.
Following the overall score entry, the home side's number of winning, drawing
and losing teams are entered at the prompt, whereapon they move into the brackets.
Results of games played early can be entered by touching 'E' from the Results Input screen.
An indexed list of meetings is displayed from which the relevant date is selected.

The screen changes to provide a list of games that day.

Entering a single result will terminate input with a confirmation to accept the change.
After any result entry or change the table is updated.
The Editor Menu

Edit a (R)esult. Select the week and game, edit the result and confirm the change.

Edit the (P)oints system.

Edit a (D)ate. Each date in turn is offered, enter a new date or press Enter to skip.

(Just the last one was changed.)
Edit the (F)ixtures. Touch M to edit Manually.

Each meeting in turn is offered on a clean page, followed by
each game slot. Enter the challenger first then the opponent.
Press Enter to skip a game, leaving the original fixture intact
or overwrite the team number.

As each game is placed the teams disappear from the list.
Now to mess things up, swap the opponents in the first two games.

Enter ' f ' to finish.
The Analysis screen follows any Fixture Editing.

The Meetings H/A shows Team 1 not playing 7 nor Team 2 playing 8
as they are not coloured yellow.
Edit the (L)inks to other Web Pages.

Edit a (N)ame or withdraw a side.

The withdrawn team is excluded from the Table.

and no longer shown in the fixture / results list.

Edit the (T)itle and Governing Body.

Edit the (C)olours of the Screen.

and the result, you can always change it back!
Edit the (B)ackground image behind the webpage's table.

Edit the (S)ponsor's Slots on the website table.
Slots either side of the title may contain images or text, with or without links.
Follow the instructions to fill either.

A look at the top of the final table.
A logo has been placed in the left hand slot with a link (to the website).
As 'Sponsor' appeared in line 1 of the rightside message
an advert for sponsorship appears when first loaded.
When the cursor moves over the title bar the message changes to a link (to the email).
A look at the Final Table with some fixtures / results removed.
When the cursor moves over the column headers the slot clears.

Additional information regarding the scoring system appears at the bottom of the page.
Finally to Quit the programme, return to the Welcome Screen and enter 'q'.

Click the link, your zip utility will ask where to extract LGMANAGR.EXE to.
Create a shortcut to it.
Double click the shortcut. Sub folders are created on first run, outputs will be in the folders.
